Airbus Introduces the U145 – Unmanned Version of the H145

Airbus Helicopters will introduce an unmanned version of its proven H145, the U145, during ILA Berlin airshow, where the company will display a full-scale mock-up of the new model. The U145 complements Airbus’ helicopter and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) offering. A maiden flight with a safety pilot onboard is planned for the end of 2026, with entry into service at the beginning of the next decade. Continue reading

Swarmer to Lead Development of a Deployable Drone Interceptor System

Swarmer Inc., a drone autonomy software company which has supported more than 100,000 real-world combat missions in Ukraine since April 2024, announced a collaboration with three other battle-proven companies to provide an end-to-end solution to intercept unmanned threats at a fraction of the cost of surface-to-air missiles currently being used for site defence.
