Uvision, a global supplier of smart integrated systems and loitering munitions, and Lendurai, an Estonian defence technology company specializing in AI-enabled autonomy solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), announced that they have signed a partnership agreement to integrate Lendurai’s AI and autonomy software with Uvision’s loitering munition systems. Under the new £15.7m contract Prismatic, the BAE Systems company which has developed the PHASA-35 High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS) Unmanned Air System (UAS), will provide the aircraft as the flight demonstration platform for a new power beaming technology designed to keep solar-powered stratospheric aircraft flying year-round, day or night. Elroy Air has announced that Bristow Group Inc. has expanded its early delivery reservations for the Chaparral autonomous cargo aircraft, reserving 10 additional early delivery positions for a total of 15.
