UK Military Aviation Authority – Introduction of RPAS Regulations

MAA logoOn 19 January 2015 the UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA) concluded a 15 month, end-to-end review of Remotely Piloted Air System (RPAS) regulations with the introduction of a bespoke Regulatory Framework.  This marked a significant milestone for the MAA as it not only formalised RPAS regulation as distinct from manned aircraft but also streamlined the process by which RPAS are introduced into Defence.

ING Robotic Aviation Partners with Ottawa Aviation Services to Offer Professional UAV Operator’s Course

ING CourseING Robotic Aviation and Ottawa Aviation Services have partnered to offer a professional Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator’s Course.  This course combines the rigour of an accomplished flight training school with that of a highly experienced UAV operator.  The first (7 day) course will take place in Ottawa starting 8 June 2015.
