Revolution Aerospace Australia (RevAero) Enables Regional Aerial Logistics and Air Taxi Operations

Revolution Aerospace (RevAero) has announced the expansion of its Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) based cargo delivery capability, with the recent procurement of the Anavia HT-100; lifting payloads over 55 kg and with over 4 hours of endurance. Study of Emissions, Costs, and Time for Last-Mile Goods Delivery by Drones Versus Trucks

Swedish researchers funded by the University of Gävle have just published a paper in which they conduct systems analyses to assess the environmental, economic, and delivery time impact of large drones for delivery scenarios to pick-up centers between mid-size cities predominantly in rural areas, and deliveries within city limits compared with electric and diesel trucks. RigiTech’s BVLOS Drone Delivery Lands in Uruguay

RigiTech’s Eiger drone has begun a 4-month pilot project in Uruguay, pioneering the first BVLOS operation in Latin America. Spanish-Uruguayan company CIELUM, in coordination with engineer Franco Simini from the biomedical engineering nucleus of the Faculty of Engineering (UDELAR) and Tacuarembó Hospital (ASSE), begun flying BVLOS (Beyond-Visual-Line-of-Sight) deliveries to extend the hospital’s medical logistics throughout the Tacuarembó department in Uruguay.
