Drone delivery company Manna said it has surpassed 250,000 drone deliveries, including more than 60,000 flights in Dublin 15 since it began operating there two years ago.
The company reported strong growth throughout 2025, with deliveries up more than 100% year on year. Growth accelerated from January and peaked in August, which Manna described as its strongest month of the year.
Following regulatory approval from the Irish Aviation Authority in October, Manna said it deployed new, quieter propellers across its fleet. Since their introduction, the company claims it has received fewer than ten new complaints from residents in Dublin 15.
Despite this, the service has faced local opposition. In October last year, campaign group Drone Action Dublin 15 held a public meeting attended by about 200 people, where residents raised concerns about noise and privacy.
In November, Manna’s plan to retain a drone delivery hub at Coolmine Industrial Estate also drew opposition. More than 90 submissions were made to Fingal County Council, the majority objecting to the proposal. Manna said the total number of complaints had risen to 150 by the end of autumn.
The company linked this increase to what it described as a “politically orchestrated campaign group”, adding that complaints have been minimal since the quieter propellers were introduced.
Manna co-founder Bobby Healy said 2026 would be a major year for the company internationally as it expands. He said the key question for Ireland is whether it chooses to support innovation that delivers jobs, reduces carbon emissions and traffic, improves accessibility, and is guided by evidence and majority community support.
