Kagiso New Media and radio station Jacaranda FM, both of which are subsidiaries of Kagiso Media, have announced plans to run a proof-of-concept pilot starting this week that will investigate the feasibility of using unmanned aircraft systems(UAS) to provide real-time traffic updates to residents of Gauteng (the province that includes Johannesburg and Pretoria).

UAS Films Liverpool Waters £5.5BN Development Site
Specialist aerial photography company IronBird, which is based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle creative sector, has been appointed by property firm Peel to film its Liverpool Waters development site. IronBird will use remotely piloted craft to film the site, which Peel wants to transform into a £5.5bn commercial, retail, residential and leisure development.
