French Armed Forces Order Novadem NX70 Micro Reconnaissance UAV
More than 50 Novadem NX70 micro surveillance and reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been ordered by the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) and will soon equip soldiers deployed in operation. Each of the 27 systems acquired is composed of two UAVs, a ground station and the associated equipments and technical support. Value of the contract is reaching more than two million euros. Boeing’s PAV Prototype Crashes on Test Flight
Boeing and its subsidiary Aurora Flight Science’s unmanned passenger air vehicle (PAV) prototype crashed June 4 during its fifth test flight in Manassas, Virginia, Aurora spokeswoman Luisa Guerra confirmed to AIN last week at the Uber Elevate Summit in Washington, D.C. Iranians Fired Missile at US Drone Prior to Tanker Attack
In the hours before the attack on the two tankers in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday, the Iranians spotted a US drone flying overhead and launched a surface-to-air missile at the unmanned aircraft, a US official told CNN.
