DARPA’s System of Systems (SoS) Integration Technology and Experimentation (SoSITE) program aims to develop and demonstrate concepts for maintaining air superiority through novel SoS architectures—combinations of aircraft, weapons, sensors and mission systems—that distribute air warfare capabilities across a large number of interoperable manned and unmanned platforms. Germany and France Agree on HALE project
Germany and France are to team up to develop military drones that would initially be used for battlefield surveillance, but could later be armed, the two nations’ leaders said in Berlin on Tuesday. Italy will also participate in the project which is to be settled before the year is out.
