Drone pilots, from commercial experts to novices, can now increase their flight precision and improve their image/video quality with a first-of-its-kind single-handed controller from Fluidity Technologies. PrecisionHawk Acquires Uplift Data Partners

PrecisionHawk announced that it has purchased Uplift Data Partners. Uplift specializes in the delivery of turnkey inspection services for construction, building information management (BIM) and real-estate. Uplift’s nationwide network of commercially trained drone pilots will join PrecisionHawk’s Droners.io network of more than 15,000 drone pilots, one of the largest networks of its kind. AeroVironment Gets $3.2 M Puma AE Contract for US Indo-Pacific Command Ally

AeroVironment, Inc. has announced it received a $3,228,856 firm-fixed-price contract on Sept. 14, 2018 from the U.S. Department of Defense to provide RQ-20B Puma AE II small unmanned aircraft systems, training and support to an allied nation in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) area of responsibility.  Continue reading →
