Several Pendleton residents question what it was they saw in the skies over the town Wednesday morning for the better part of an hour. Virgil Bates Jr. and Tonia Smith were part of the road construction crew at the intersection of Southwest Nye and Marshall avenues when around 9 a.m. they spotted a small white object floating hundreds of feet above the south area of Pendleton. Canadian UAS Test Range Gets Integrated BVLOS Drone Airspace Management System

General Atomics Conducts First Flight Test from New Training Center

On August 30^th, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) flew its first test flight out of its new Flight Test and Training Center (FTTC) facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Airbus Flight Tests Jet-Powered Sagitta in South Africa

Airbus Defence and Space has successfully tested a new type of aircraft that will aid the development of future unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for series production. The unmanned jet-propelled demonstrator with the project name SAGITTA flew completely autonomously for around seven minutes over Denel’s Overberg Test Range (OTR) in South Africa, on a pre-programmed course.
