Ballard Power Systems announced that the Company’s subsidiary, Protonex, has received purchase orders from the U.S. Navy for a total of 13 fuel cell propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. Deliveries of the fuel cell propulsion systems are expected to occur in 2018. Continue reading
The Pratt & Whitney (P&W) PW815 engine was selected by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) to power their proposed solution for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-25 Stingray unmanned aerial refuelling aircraft.
