A high-definition camera and drone have captured an aerial view of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef in an effort to monitor the health of the pristine region. Queensland University of Technology researchers scanned 40 hectares of Ningaloo Reef, the largest existing fringing reef in the world, over 30 minutes, 100 metres above the sea surface. Japanese Drone Services Company Sets Up in Queensland

California-based Aerial MOB, which supplies drone services for film and TV production, has signed an exclusive deal with William F. White International to see its flying cameras rented out in Canada. The deal with Toronto-based Whites, Canada’s largest production equipment supplier, will have Aerial MOB’s small, unmanned aircrafts systems, or drones, crossing the border to provide higher vistas and tighter shots on Hollywood movie and TV shoots.
