Democratic Republic of Congo Launches ‘Drones for Health’ Programme

On January 29th, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) officially launched its routine drone delivery operations to reach remote communities in the Équateur province. Through the “Drones for Health” Program, drones ensure fast turnaround transport of lifesaving vaccines, medicines, and other health products as well as laboratory samples and test results to reduce the burden of infectious diseases and prevent their spread.  Continue reading

UK Consortium to Propel Next Generation of Electric Aircraft

Blue Bear Systems Research, a UK Small to Medium Enterprise in Bedford, has formed a seven-strong consortium to develop a next generation, all electric, propulsion module to enhance aircraft performance while reducing operating costs. Thales and H3 Dynamics Test Real Time Traffic Control

In December 2020, H3 Dynamics and Thales jointly trialled a real-time autonomous drone flight monitoring system in an urban environment in Singapore. The trial combined H3 Dynamics’ DBX autonomous drone charging box and a drone electronically registered and identified using Thales’ Remote Identification tracker under the management and monitoring of the Thales UAS Airspace Management solution. Elroy Air Joins NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility Project

NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) National Campaign is working alongside the Federal Aviation Administration to integrate innovative operational use cases for Urban Air Mobility vehicles, or UAM for short, into the national airspace system, including air taxis and cargo delivery vehicles.
