Motorola Solutions has completed the acquisition of D-Fend Solutions (D-Fend), an industry leader in counter-drone technology, for a purchase price of $1.5 billion. This deal provides public safety and enterprise customers with access to advanced counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) designed to safely neutralize rogue drone threats.
Patria and Ukrainian drone manufacturer Center of Unmanned Technologies LLC (“General Cherry”) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) on 23 August, 2026. As part of the collaboration, Patria plans to initiate drone production in Finland, which would support the development of Europe’s defence capabilities and Patria’s aim to be a pioneer in defence technologies and an innovative product developer. Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems developer and manufacturer Airlogix and Finnish contract development and manufacturing organization Innokas have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to cooperate on establishing manufacturing capabilities in Finland for the production of UAV systems based on Airlogix’s Ukrainian technologies. The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has entered into an agreement with Terma for the delivery of a new, integrated command-and-control system for counter-drone defence. The system will create a shared drone situational picture for the Danish Armed Forces and other authorities.
