The American University of Sharjah has announced that a research exercise run by Prof Mohamed Gadalla, of the mechanical engineering department, has resulted in a multi-propeller drone powered by a hydrogen fuel cell being flown in front of the main university building.
A new drone training centre at Republic Polytechnic (RP) will offer courses to people who want to learn how to fly these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to RP, this is the first dedicated UAV centre among Singapore’s institutes of higher learning that provides training and education for drone users. Continue reading
