AAI Gets $9.5M Support Contract for Shadow 200

AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, Maryland, was awarded a $9,566,728 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to provide engineering services in support of the Shadow 200 unmanned aircraft systems.

American Dynamics Flight Systems AD 150 Wind Tunnel Test

CNN sent reporter Brian Todd to the Glenn L. Martin Wind Tunnel at the University of Maryland to witness wind tunnel tests of the AD-150 aircraft, being developed by American Dynamics Flight Systems, an unmanned aircraft that can take off vertically and fly horizontally.

Elbit Systems Gets $40 Million Digital Army Program Extension from Israel’s Ministry of Defence

Florida Start-Up Gets UAS Contract from US Army

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue a sole source contract to Altavian Inc. of Gainesville, Florida, for one NOVA 2.1 aircraft, replacement parts, and support for the Unmanned Aircraft System NOVA 2.1. in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
