Added to the Turkish Armed Forces’ inventory in 2014, the Bayraktar TB2 Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was put into service with the Turkish National Police. Consisting of three UAVs and ground control units, the first system was delivered in June following tests and approval procedures.

Indian Army Deploys UAVs During Floods
It is reported that the Army is making plans of using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for the first time ever to locate people washed away in floods and reconnaissance in Assam. Germany to Lease Five Heron TPs
The German army plans to rent five unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems from Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) at a cost of €580 million. The systems are IAI’s most advanced UAVs the Heron TP, also adopted in recent years by the Israeli air force, which calls it Eitan.
