Warren AFB Selects Dedrone for sUAS Defense

Dedrone, a provider of small UAS (sUAS) detection and tracking technology announced the continuation of their license agreement with F.E. Warren Air Force Base. F.E. Warren was selected to test the Dedrone platform in June of 2018 as part of a DIU testing phase that included six DoD facilities, and has been continuously testing, evaluating and using the capability for over a year. Four New Belgian Companies Join Team SkyGuardian

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has announced that four more Belgium-based businesses have been selected to join five previously identified companies to support the development of MQ-9B SkyGuardian RPA for Belgium. AeroSimulators Group (ASG), AIRobot, ALX Systems and Hexagon will join Team SkyGuardian, which already includes the following five Belgium companies: SABCA, Thales Belgium, Esterline, Newtec and DronePort.  Bee boxes sit to the west of Clark Coleman’s sunflower field north of Bismarck. Honey bees play a vital role in pollinating sunflowers, helping increase yield and quality. But up until now, the bees have been placed nearby and farmers hope for the best. “Bees pollinate, but they don’t know where,” explains Kate Lyall, who owns and operates Australian agriculture technology company Bee Innovative with her husband, David.
