Skyports Trials Medical Deliveries in Shetland Islands

Defibrillator by BVLoS Drone Trial in Wales

Immediately before lockdown, a team from Snowdonia Aerospace, with partners SwiftFlight Avionics, University of Manchester and the Welsh Ambulance Service, completed a successful flight demo that showed proof-of-concept for beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) delivery of a defibrillator by drone to a remote, rural location that would be difficult to reach with an ambulance in a timely fashion. Drone Delivery Canada to Start Commercial Testing of Heavy-Lift, Long-Range Cargo Delivery Drone

Drone Delivery Canada Corp. has announced that it will begin the commercial testing of the Condor. The Condor has a lifting capability of 180 kgs (400 lbs) of payload, a travel range of 200 kms and an operating speed of 120kph.  The multi-package payload compartment is designed to carry approximately 20 cubic feet of cargo.
