Epirus Gets $43.5M US Army Contract for IFPC-HPM Generation II Systems

Epirus has announced a $43,551,060 contract from the U.S. Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). The base contract includes delivery of two Integrated Fires Protection Capability High-Power Microwave (IFPC-HPM) Generation II (GEN II) systems, along with associated test events, support equipment and spares with options for additional tests, components and support. A-10 Warthog Already Has Capability to Use Laser-Guided Rockets to Down Drones

We have just learned that one of the most successful adaptations of an existing weapon in recent memory — morphing laser-guided air-to-ground rockets into counter-drone weapons — can be accommodated on A-10 Warthog. The version of the Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System II (APKWS II) takes 2.75 in. (70mm) Hydra rockets and turns them into drone and cruise missile busters. Continue reading

Estonia’s Marduk Participates in Swedish C-UAS Demonstration

Marduk Technologies took part in the recent Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) demonstration held on Gotland as part of the GUTE project. This event, operated by FMV and Swedish Armed Forces, brought together Swedish and international industry partners to test and evaluate modular solutions against drone threats in operational conditions.
