Sagetech Avionics Gets US Air Force AFWERX Contract

Sagetech Avionics  announced that it has received a U.S. Air Force Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contract for the initial development phase of components for a type-certifiable detect-and-avoid (DAA) system. Electric-Powered Wingsuit by BMW

BMW Group presented the first electric drive system for a wingsuit with which the centuries-old dream of flying can be realised in a completely novel way. The innovative drive module and the likewise entirely newly designed wingsuit were developed in a cooperation between BMW i, Designworks and the professional wingsuit pilot Peter Salzmann from Austria. AeroVironment to Acquire Arcturus UAV

AeroVironment, Inc. and Arcturus UAV, Inc., a privately-held provider of Group 2 and 3 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and services, announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which AeroVironment will acquire Arcturus UAV for a total purchase price of $405 million, including $355 million in cash and $50 million in AeroVironment stock.
