CAE Staff Demonstrate UAS Mission Training Solutions at Aero India
CAE recently demonstrated its UAS mission training solutions at the biennial Aero India show in Bangalore. India’s Army, Navy and Air Force are all expected to significantly increase their use of unmanned aerial systems, and the three services are currently conducting trials to evaluate potential UAS training systems.
AnsuR, an Oslo, Norway-based supplier of small unmanned aerial vehicles, has announced its acquisition of Scandicraft, another Norwegian company that develops and markets microdrones for surveillance and security purposes.
The NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) is performing a market survey for the purpose of gathering information pertaining to industry’s capability in the field of countering Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The 10th edition of IDEX opened its doors to VIP visitors on Sunday 20th and today, Monday, to all visitors. The event, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates runs until Thursday 24th February. IDEX is the largest defence and security event in the Middle East and North African region, and this year 900 companies, including several UAS manufacturers and local agents, are exhibiting.
