HENSOLDT and TYTAN Form Strategic Counter-UAS Partnership to Protect Critical Infrastructure

HENSOLDT and TYTAN Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 26 to cooperate in the development and deployment of Counter-UAS systems for the protection of critical infrastructure.

The agreement was signed by Balázs Nagy, CEO and Co-Founder of TYTAN Technologies, and Oliver Dörre, CEO of HENSOLDT, during the opening ceremony of TYTAN’s new headquarters in Munich. The signing took place in the presence of Dr. Markus Söder, MdL, Minister President of Bavaria.

Under the MoU, TYTAN’s cost-effective interceptor drones will be integrated with HENSOLDT’s sensor portfolio and command-and-control software, Elysion Mission Core, creating an immediately deployable, Bavarian-made Counter-UAS capability aimed at safeguarding European airspace.

The cooperation will focus on integrating TYTAN platforms into HENSOLDT’s Elysion Mission Core solution; launching joint initiatives to protect critical infrastructure in cooperation with federal and state agencies; and pursuing international projects, particularly in support of Ukrainian and NATO air-defence efforts.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering rapidly deployable, battlefield-proven, and technologically advanced solutions to address the growing threat posed by mass drone warfare. It also reinforces European technological sovereignty and underscores Bavaria’s role as a center for defence innovation and industrial excellence.

“The cooperation of HENSOLDT and TYTAN allows us to combine agility, innovative strength, and system-integration expertise at the highest level,” said Oliver Dörre, CEO of HENSOLDT. “Together, we are significantly and rapidly enhancing protection against the increasing threats posed by drones.”

“TYTAN and HENSOLDT demonstrate an unwavering commitment to protecting people and critical infrastructure in Europe from unmanned threats—not in five years, but today,” said Balázs Nagy, CEO and Co-Founder of TYTAN Technologies. “This partnership brings battlefield-tested technology built on the proven strengths of both companies.”
