Red Cat Partners with Spetstechnoexport Ukraine on Multi-Domain Unmanned Systems

Red Cat Holdings, Inc., a U.S.-based provider of advanced all-domain drone and robotic solutions for defence and national security, has entered a strategic partnership with Spetstechnoexport (STE), a state-owned enterprise under Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, to accelerate collaboration on next-generation unmanned and robotic systems.

Formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), the agreement establishes a framework for cooperation across air, land, and maritime domains. It aims to support the integration of advanced technologies, expand production capabilities, and broaden access to U.S. and Ukrainian defence innovations in global markets. The partnership positions Red Cat among the first U.S. companies to formally collaborate with a Ukrainian state-owned defence enterprise on multi-domain unmanned systems.

The announcement follows a joint event in Ukraine earlier this month, where Red Cat and STE brought together defence stakeholders, technology developers, and operational users to showcase emerging systems and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration.

“This partnership reflects a shift in how allied nations collaborate to rapidly develop and deploy unmanned systems,” said Chris Ericson, Red Cat’s Chief Operating Officer. “Ukraine has become a proving ground for new defence technologies, and STE plays a key role in connecting those innovations to global partners.”

STE acts as an integrator of Ukraine’s defence technology ecosystem, facilitating international partnerships, export coordination, and scaling advanced systems for deployment. The collaboration aligns with Red Cat’s strategy to deliver an integrated “Family of Systems” across multiple domains, supporting modern military operations amid growing global demand for resilient, interoperable unmanned solutions.
