China’s state media has announced that he country will supply 50 Wing Loong II armed drones to Pakistan. This would pose a problem for Indian ground formations in high-altitude areas as India’s military does not have the ability to respond to a drone attack.
Indian military officials point out that the armed drones perform greatly in uncontested air spaces or where it has air dominance. Armed Chinese and Turkish drones played a crucial role in recent Libya, Syria and Azerbaijan conflicts.
