Every technological product we use today started off as an idea in someone’s mind. It then went from an idea to a blueprint, and then to a prototype, and then eventually to a product that we were able to go out and buy.
Not every good idea makes it all the way along that chain. Some of them fail at the blueprint stage, and others make it as far as a working prototype, but they don’t quite get over the line as fully realized concepts.
