The “Year of the Fighter” at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 included a huge gathering of P-51 Mustangs.
Eighteen of these legendary fighters came together to fly during the Thursday airshow. Starting with a taxi of EAA’s own “Paul I”, recently restored to running state, then a mass run-up, takeoffs, and flybys. The show concluded with a missing man flyover.
