The Second JARUS Information and Dissemination Workshop will take place on May 20, 2014 and is kindly hosted by EUROCONTROL in Brussels.JARUS is a group of experts from National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) from all over the world, EUROCONTROL and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Its purpose is to recommend a single set of proportionate technical, safety and operational requirements for the certification and safe integration of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) into airspace and at aerodromes.  This requires review and consideration of existing regulations and other material applicable to manned aircraft and the drafting of specific RPAS guidance material to cover the unique features of RPAS.

JARUS is soliciting feedback and comments from stakeholders in the RPAS market on their proposals for regulation through workshops and a subsequent comment period.

This second JARUS Information and Dissemination workshop will address two draft documents.
In the morning the JARUS working group on Organization Approvals group will present the first version of JARUS-ORG, containing proposals for requirements on Operators and Approved Training Organizations.

In the afternoon, the Command, Control and Communications group will present the first version of the Guidance on RPAS C2 link Required Communication Performance (C2 link RCP) document.

The workshop will include time for questions and some discussion on the material presented.

JARUS workshops are open to all interested parties in the RPAS market. Participation is free of charge.
