Advanced Defense Technologies Inc. announced that the Company is designing Unmanned Aircraft System technology for both defence and commercial markets. The large potential growth markets include surveillance, law enforcement, terrorist threat prevention, domestic infrastructure defense, and border security.
ADTI anticipates the Federal Aviation Authority could potentially open up domestic airspace for commercial UAS operations in the future. More advanced communications and data capacity including development of detection and collision avoidance technology could play an important role in removing airspace restrictions making commercial applications viable markets for UA systems developers in this sector.
