General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Gets $40M Contracts from US Army

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, California, was awarded a $12,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the support services for Warrior A/Block 0 unmanned aircraft systems.  Work will be performed in Poway, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 17, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-12-C-0001).

The company was also awarded a $17,979,376 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to allow for incremental funding of previous change order.  Work will be performed in Poway, Calif.; Hunt Valley, Md.; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Lake Forest, Calif., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2011.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-C-0069).
