Tim Owings, Deputy Project Manager for the US Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) has received the DOD Distinguished Civilian Service Award, the highest award given to a Department of Defense civilian.
The prestigious award is presented to a small number of civilian employees whose careers reflect exceptional devotion to duty and highly significant contributions of broad scope in policy, scientific, technical, or administrative fields that have led to increased effectiveness in DOD operations.
