Insitu Gets $11M ScanEagle Contract for Yemen

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Washington, is being awarded $10,976,866 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0007 against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N68335-11-G-0009) for the procurement of one ScanEagle System that consists of nine ScanEagle Electro-Optics and three ScanEagle Infra-red Unmanned Air Vehicles for the government of Yemen under the Foreign Military Sales program. This order also provides for one 12-month/3,600 flight-hour sustainment package with acceptance testing, spares, technical manuals, and training; a site activation team; field service representative; and force protection. Work will be performed in Bingen, Washington (50 percent), and Sanaa, Yemen (50 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2015.

Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $10,976,866 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
