Stratolaunch Successfully Completes Captive Carry Flight with TA-1 Test Vehicle

Stratolaunch, LLC has announced the completion of a captive carry flight with the first powered Talon-A hypersonic vehicle, TA-1. The flight was the twelfth for the company’s launch platform Roc and the first in which the aircraft carried a Talon vehicle with live propellant as part of a buildup approach for Talon-A’s first powered flight. HENSOLDT Enters into Strategic Collaboration with Wings For Aid

Sensor solution provider HENSOLDT and the Dutch company Wings For Aid have entered into a strategic partnership. The aim of the two-stage cooperation is to improve the air safety of cargo drones. Wings For Aid has developed the “MiniFreighter”, a 650-kg Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) that delivers humanitarian goods to people isolated by natural disasters and man-made crises. Ukrainian Marines Hacked a Russian Drone to Locate its Base -Then Blew Up the Base With Artillery

GA-ASI and USMC Complete First MQ-9A WTI Training Class

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. and the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) teamed up to conduct flight training for Marines that was completed on Oct. 29, 2023. The seven-week course on the operation of MQ-9A Block 5 Unmanned Aircraft System was given to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona.
