Elbit Systems Ltd. announced yesterday that it has reached an agreement to acquire the remaining 30% of the shares of Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd. held by Elta Systems Ltd.(a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd.) for $67.5 million.

$15 million Gray Eagle Training Centre On Schedule in Arizona
Work is on schedule to open the Army’s new $15 million Gray Eagle UAS Training Centre at Fort Huachuca within a year. The installation is near Sierra Vista in South East Arizona, 15 miles from the Mexico border. The announcement was made last week by Brigadier General Gregg Potter, who commands the Intelligence Centre of Excellence and Fort Huachuca.
Northrop Grumman Gets $26M for BAMS ‘Sense & Avoid’ System

CAE Puts ‘Mission’ into UAS Training at Aero India
CAE recently demonstrated its UAS mission training solutions at the biennial Aero India show in Bangalore. India’s Army, Navy and Air Force are all expected to significantly increase their use of unmanned aerial systems, and the three services are currently conducting trials to evaluate potential UAS training systems.
Norway: AnsuR Acquires Scandicraft
AnsuR, an Oslo, Norway-based supplier of small unmanned aerial vehicles, has announced its acquisition of Scandicraft, another Norwegian company that develops and markets microdrones for surveillance and security purposes.
