30-Acre Drone Park Could Be Coming to Florida
Palm Bay officials have discussed designating a drone park for use by hobbyists and the Florida Institute of Technology’s unmanned aerial vehicles program, said James Marshal, the city’s Bayfront Community Redevelopment Agency administrator. Enlightenment Capital, an aerospace, defense, and government-focused investment firm, announced that it has made a strategic investment in Aurora Flight Sciences, a manufacturer of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and autonomous flight technologies for military and commercial customers.
