ITOCHU Corporation (Keita Ishii, President & COO) has announced that Wingcopter GmbH, a drone development and manufacturing company with which ITOCHU has concluded a capital and business alliance as well as a sales agency agreement, has applied for and received the acceptance of the 1st Class first type certification for a fixed-wing drone under the unmanned aircraft (drone) type certification by the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Norway Establishes Arctic Base for Long-Range Drones

The Norwegian government has great ambitions for Andøya, and proposes to reverse the decision to close Andøya so that there will still be a daily military presence at the air station. Britain’s 165-Mile Long ‘Drone Superhighway’ will be Completed this Summer

The world’s first drone superhighway will open in the UK between June and early July, allowing pilotless drones to make high-speed deliveries across the country.
