DroneBase Launches UAS Augmented Reality Platform

DroneBase has launched AirCraft, the first Augmented Reality platform for both commercial and recreational drone use. The new AR technology allows pilots of any skillset to use their drones to create, edit, and share objects in the sky. AirCraft will first launch in beta and integrate into the existing DroneBase app, which is available today for iOS and coming soon for Android. NASA Hosts Industry Day for Unmanned Aircraft in National Airspace Collaboration

 

NASA Aeronautics is heavily involved in developing solutions for safe integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in the national airspace. NASA has two UAS projects that work in lock-step with the Federal Aviation Administration to address the challenges facing UAS integration across the full spectrum of aircraft type and sizes, and the environments in which they fly.
