The pilots, who have been flying together for more than 17 years, used every ounce of that experience as they descended to a height of just 1 metre above the ground to fly through a hangar measuring just 7.6 metres high, at more than 160 knots (185 mph).

Shark Squadron Mustang IV
No. 112 Squadron was a squadron of the Royal Air Force. It served in both the First World War and Second World War and was active for three periods during the Cold War. It is nicknamed “The Shark Squadron”, an allusion to the fact that it was the first unit from any Allied air force to use the famous “shark mouth” logo on Curtiss P-40s.
P-51D Mustang Whistle
“Jumpin Jacques” is a P-51D-20-NA model, built at North American’s Inglewood facility in California. Accepted by the USAAF on December 21 1944 as 44-72035 she was originally earmarked for service with the Eighth Air Force in England but this was quickly changed to Project Number 91037R, indicating service in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations.
