US Forest Service Drops Plans to Use UAS in Montana and North Idaho
Last week, the US Forest Service officials said they’ve dropped plans to use unmanned aircraft systems to survey forest fires because of clashes with Federal Aviation Administration rules. EASA Shows it Takes RPAS Seriously
The EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) is mandated to regulate RPAS with a MTOM of 150 kg or more when used for civil applications in Europe, and is supporting the development of a European ‘roadmap’ covering the development and integration into non-segregated airspace of civil RPAS in the medium and long term.
