How High Can a Drone Clean ?

One of the most common questions we get about drone cleaning is how high drones can fly for this type of work. The short answer is that drones can legally fly up to 400 feet without a waiver. If a job requires going higher, it is possible to get a waiver from the FAA, but this process takes time and requires specific justification. MassDOT Aeronautics Reports Successful Drone Delivery Demonstrations

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Aeronautics Division has announced the successful completion of flights by three companies, which conducted drone medical delivery demonstrations transporting packages of up to 10 pounds. The tests were designed to explore and assess the future use of drones, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems, for small package delivery, especially for home-based healthcare and emergency medical response in the future.   Continue reading

China’s Large Cargo UAV TP1000 Completes Maiden Flight with One-Ton Payload

A large unmanned cargo aircraft, independently developed by Yitong UAV System Co, completed its maiden flight on Saturday at Laixi Dianbu Airport in Qingdao, East China’s Shandong Province, with a payload capacity exceeding one ton, marking another significant breakthrough for China in the field of high-end unmanned aviation equipment, Science and Technology Daily reported.
