FASTCOM is a mobile, secure battlefield cellular network that can be hosted on manned and unmanned aircraft, aerostats, masts or ground vehicles. It has been co-developed by two Textron Systems’ companies – Overwatch and AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems – in partnership with ViaSat Inc.

US Navy Issues Unmanned Carrier-Launched Airborne Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS) Solicitation

US Army to Test Triple Sensors on Gray Eagle
The U.S. Army will use a General Atomics’ MQ-1C Gray Eagle this spring to flight-test a new system of multiple sensors that can be controlled by ground troops or aircraft crews. The Triclops system adds a sensor under each wing to the fuselage sensor carried by UAS.
