(GA-ASI) and L3Harris Technologies have collaborated to further expand the mission capabilities of the U.S. Air Force’s versatile MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). An MQ-9 pilot pulled a wrong lever as the Reaper was taking off in Syracuse, N.Y., causing the remotely piloted aircraft to lose fuel supply and crash in June 2020, according to an Air Force investigation. Continue reading
In June 2020, Azerbaijan announced it had purchased Bayraktar TB2 combat drones from Turkey. A few months later, during the Nagorno-Karabakh war, the Turkish UAVs were used.
