More than 400 attendees flocked the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Warfighter Forum from June 21-24 in Tucson, Ariz. Now in its 11th forum, the invitation-only gathering is an annual opportunity for attendees to confer openly with each other and discuss issues to identify what the Army has done right, what it can improve, and encourages the free flow of ideas, all in support of the Soldier.

How Do You Say ‘Camcopter’ in Russian ?
OAO Gorizont (Russia) and Schiebel (Austria) have joined forces to deliver an Unmanned Aircraft System in Russia based on the S-100 unmanned helicopter. One is on show at the International Maritime Defence Show IMDS 2011 in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 29 June to 3 July, and another will soon be in operational use for a government customer.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be displaying the world’s only fully operational maritime variant MQ-9 Predator B Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), the Guardian, next week at the world’s largest aviation trade show in Paris.
Schiebel Camcopter Flies Again at Paris Air Show
The Schiebel CAMCOPTER S-100 will be the only UAS taking part in the daily flight displays (20th to 26th June) at the Paris Air Show. Flight imagery along with data from its onboard sensor will be transmitted in real time to the Air Show’s TV station.
