AeroVironment, Inc. announced it has received orders valued at $36,746,304 under a contract for Switchblade(TM) tactical missile systems, ancillary equipment and support. The United States Army Close Combat Weapons Systems Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) awarded these contract modifications. Northrop Grumman Corporation‘s portfolio of high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) have achieved 100,000 flight hours – more than 88 percent of which were logged by the U.S. Air Force Global Hawk.
