Bidding Process for Piaggio Aerospace Formally Reopens

With a notice published on january 19 in a selected number of financial newspapers, and after receiving the relevant authorization from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Extraordinary Commissioner Vincenzo Nicastro officially reopened the bidding process for the sale of the business complexes of Piaggio Aero Industries and its subsidiary Piaggio Aviation, the two companies, currently under Extraordinary Administration, operating under the Piaggio Aerospace brand. Kawasaki Unmanned Cargo System Combines Aircraft with Mobile Wheeled Robot

Kawasaki Heavy Industries has successfully completed proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for an unmanned cargo transport system. The system combines Kawasaki’s K-Racer-X1 prototype unmanned vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft and what is commonly described in the industry as an autonomous mobile robot, and which the company describes as a “delivery robot”.
