Ukraine’s BlueBird Tech Unveils Modular Bebradrone Kit

Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has unveiled the Bebradrone KIT, a modular version of its Bebradrone UAV.

The platform is offered across three build variants:

  • Base: includes a bare structural airframe intended for user-installed avionics, priced at UAH 6,700 ($148)on Brave1 Market
  • ARF: comprises an airframe pre-fitted with propulsion motors, costing UAH 15,000 ($330)
  • Pro: delivers a platform integrated with a pre-configured flight controller, priced at UAH 5,900. ($130)

The standalone Bebradrone airframe is listed on Brave1 Market at UAH 39,000 ($860) without additional configuration.

BlueBird Tech also offers individual configuration – the company’s engineers select, install and configure equipment according to the technical specifications of a specific customer.

Who is the “Bebradron KIT” from BlueBird Tech suitable for?

“Bebradron KIT” is designed primarily for those for whom the standard configuration is not enough.

“We created the “Bebradron KIT” for the military, for whom the standard configuration is not enough. If the unit already has its own communication systems, video transmitters, cameras or other equipment, it does not need to adapt to a ready-made configuration. On the contrary, it can build a UAV around an existing technical ecosystem. The team can do part of the work itself or give us the technical task and receive a ready-made platform with integrated and configured equipment,” explain BlueBird Tech engineers.

Characteristics of “Bebradron KIT”

“Bebradron KIT” develops a cruising speed of 90 km/h and a maximum speed of up to 150 km/h. The tactical range of use is up to 45 km, and the maximum payload weight is up to 7.5 kg. The flight duration is up to 30 minutes. The launch is carried out from a pneumatic catapult. The operating altitude is from 150 to 500 meters.

Actual flight performance depends on the platform configuration, installed equipment, battery, payload weight and placement, weather conditions, and aircraft flight mode.

Under the Brave1 Market system, a military unit submits a request detailing required technical specifications, target quantity, and delivery deadlines, whereupon the platform automatically routes inquiries to qualified suppliers capable of fulfilling the order.
