– Ondas Inc., through its Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) and Ondas Networks units, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Rotron Aero, a UK developer of advanced unmanned aerial systems and long-range autonomous platforms for extended-reach operations.
The acquisition positions Ondas to meet rising demand for cost-effective, scalable technologies on the modern battlefield. Integrating Rotron’s capabilities adds next-generation, attritable one-way autonomous attack systems with long-range strike performance that fit within Ondas’ existing architecture. These unmanned platforms enhance operational flexibility while reducing risk to personnel in contested environments.
“Modern conflicts demand systems that can operate at range, persist over time, and execute missions with minimal human control,” said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas. “Rotron strengthens our ability to deliver long-range autonomous attack platforms within a fully integrated system-of-systems.”
Mark Green, Ondas’ Global Head of Corporate Development and M&A, said the deal advances the company’s Strategic Growth Plan by adding synergistic platforms, engineering talent, and a strategic footprint in the UK and NATO ecosystem, including relationships with the UK Ministry of Defence.
Gilo Cardozo, Founder of Rotron, said combining Rotron’s propulsion and aerial platform expertise with Ondas’ autonomy architecture will accelerate delivery of next-generation unmanned solutions to global defence customers.
Rotron is known for vertically integrated design and manufacturing that supports rapid prototyping through industrialization within the secure UK defense ecosystem. Its portfolio includes long-endurance VTOL systems and uncrewed combat aerial vehicles such as the Talon series and the Defendor one-way autonomous platform, powered by proprietary engines and fan drive systems.

Defendor is a long-range, high-speed aerial system designed for vertical take-off (VTOL) operations, combining exceptional range, payload capacity and cost-effective scalability to bridge the gap between conventional drones and traditional combat aircraft
Following closing, Rotron’s team and technology will integrate into OAS to support existing programs and enable new autonomous deployments. The transaction is subject to customary conditions, with consideration in cash and stock.
