NATO Support and Procurement Agency Calls Orders for Parrot ANAFI UKR Micro-UAV Systems

Parrot, a European supplier of professional micro-UAVs, has announced initial call-off orders through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for ANAFI UKR systems. Shipments began in Q1 2026 in tranches of 100–500 units, with volumes expected to scale into the thousands as programmes progress.

NSPA provides procurement and life-cycle support to NATO and partner nations. ANAFI UKR is available via NSPA’s UAS Support Partnership, allowing eligible customers to procure through catalogue or call-off orders in line with national procedures. The agreement reflects growing multinational coordination to improve interoperability and operational effectiveness within NATO.

For Parrot, the NSPA framework offers a scalable, repeatable procurement route. It builds on existing defence relationships and supports follow-on orders for ANAFI UKR, as well as potential procurement of other eligible systems.

The initial orders cover two end users: the Finnish Defence Forces and a second NSPA-eligible defence customer, to be disclosed later.

Chris Roberts, Parrot’s Senior Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer, said the NSPA channel enables faster capability deployment through standardized contracting, while remaining driven by national requirements. He added that ANAFI UKR meets frontline needs for compact, discreet systems capable of autonomous operation in GNSS-denied environments.

Jamming resistant

ANAFI UKR is designed for defence and government missions requiring secure communications, protected data handling, and reliable performance in demanding conditions. Its compact form supports mobility and rapid deployment.

Weighing under 1 kg, the system combines embedded AI, optical navigation, and full offline autonomy. It is built for resilience in contested environments, with anti-spoofing, frequency-hopping military radio, and hardened cybersecurity, validated in live electronic warfare scenarios.
