On September 30, Spain’s National Police tweeted that its EHang’s EH216 ‘is already flying!’
In October last year, EHang Holdings announced that it woul collaborate with the Spanish National Police to explore potential use cases for AAVs in emergency and security missions.
The new announcement was accompanied by a video of the EHang drone painted in the colours of Spain’s National Police.
The EH216 is now part of the Air Resources Service and has successfully passed all test flights.
