Drone Crash into Las Vegas Stadium Causes $10K Damage

Police in Las Vegas are searching for a suspect after it was reported last month that the drone crashed into Allegiant Stadium. The incident happened on the afternoon of November 21st.

The drone collided with a panel about 80-100 feet above the ground. A security assistant manager told police that the damage was estimated to be between $ 5,000 and $ 8,000, but the damage was stated in a police report as $ 10,000.

Security footage revealed that the suspect was seen talking to a guard at some point. Security guards told police that a man was demanding the return of the drone after being seized after the crash.

After the staff refused to return the drone, the man fled in an unknown direction with a black BMW X3. The vehicle was later found to be rented and returned to the Hertz rental company.
